Depends on how much they value the best record in the NL.
It would allow them to face the WC winner a day after the one-game playoff.
And if last year's arrangement stays the same, it would also allow them to pick the NLDS schedule that best suits their needs, i.e., they could pick the schedule that gives them an extra day off and go with a 3 man rotation. That would help with Stras unavailable.
