Manny Acta is consistently matter-of-fact in either winning or losing:
"The Phillies have only hit 220 more runs than we have this year. They only have 80 more home runs than we do. They're the 3rd best hitting team in baseball. They're a good team."At this point, the Phillies deserve to win the division, not the Mets, who have been going downhill in both pitching and hitting. Obviously, WE will control which of them wins it. The Mets blew it last year and the Phillies are red hot right now.
I don't care who Sutton or Carpenter thinks is the Nationals best pitcher. I really don't.
