How do you give Sanchez that call with the way he's been pitching?

Totally agreed.  Pathetic call by the ump.

MLB needs to seriously evaluate these umpires.   They're as poor as I ever remember.

Well in the zone according to gameday.

It wasn't well in the zone on TV. It was a pinch below and hasn't been a strike all day.

This.  I have no problem with expanded or tighter pitch zones as long as it is consistent.

Perfect pitch, IMO.

Perfect for a guy pounding the zone.   He's been all over the place and I find it odd that all of a sudden the ump spots a pitch on the edge of the zone.

see that's what happens when you have the worst hitting coach in baseball.  leave bases loaded.

THAT is precisely why this team is so terrible and why this is a definite loss, the most embarrassing loss of the season.

Well. We leave a gajillion on base and they tie it just like that.

It is still a beautiful day down here. I'm digging this late afternoon start.

lol at ronny, you'd never even know he was a nats fan except for where he posts

that call was obviously bs even from up here, good pitch or not

of course we give up the tiny lead we eked out in one swing.
