Wanna guess which series will draw more fans watching? Knicks / Celtics or the NBA Finals?

Which reminds me of the slog that they now make the NBA finals as far as the length of time between games.

That album influenced the Beatles to make Sgt. Peppers in response, but was hated by Mike Love, and a lot of Beach Boys fans at the time given it was such a deviation from their original style.

I recently watched the Beach Boys "Love and Mercy" biopic starring John Cusack as Brian Wilson, definitely worth watching though I kept seeing Lane Meyer the entire time and waiting for Wilson to be chased by a newspaper delivery boy on one ski.

Long Promised Road, from 2021, is also fantastic if you haven't seen it.

Wilson was just recently placed in conservatorship after the death of his wife and is suffering from dementia. :(

I agree with your call, Chief. Rule of thumb is give hard thought on dormant threads from more than a season ago. Sometimes it is fun for irony, but more often it's best to try a new thread if it is a new tack. We used to have a ton of LAC vs LANC discussions until it became kind of irrelevant when they were in lux tax territory. I don't disagree they are financially tighter now, whether it's Marky Mark or the In-laws. It's just a new discussion. Also, we've been told that the superlong threads can sometimes be hard to follow, so I'm trying to allow more newer and focused threads.

whelp.  we just lost 2/3 to the white sox.  Time to sell on williams, harvey, finnegan, floro, barnes, and winker.  If robles, gallo, meneses, and thomas are showing signs of life at the deadline then trade them too.
It's a bad series. They happen. No reason to jump yet.

I am feeling optimistic that the Nats have some nice pieces to deal once and if they give up on the season

range is great, but there's a bit of sloppiness once he gets to a ball.
I'm hoping and expect it is just rookie jitters.
