In recognition of one of few really awful games the Nats have played this year, I thought WNFF should be the first Nats fan site to recognize the effort to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the 2009 team. It's just as tough to play down to that level every game, just as it's tough to play like 2019 and go 1-0 every day. So, when the Nats do play that bad, ee should recognize it.
In honor of the 2009 team and the old legion of doom, let's recognize 2009 level play of Gallo and Rosario, starts that feature starters with 2 mph off of fastballs that lead to 6 runs, cruddy middle relief, Natinals embarassments, and Lastings Milledge on all star ballots by posting snarky tributes in this thread.
