I have an old give away hockey stick from the Centre .... names include .... Chris Valentine/Bobby Gould/Randy Hobb/Bob Carpenter/Howard Walker/Dave Parro/Mike Gartner ... must be like '82 or '83. Hell, I go back to Bugsy Watson and Yvon Lebre .... 
I have an old giveaway stick from that time, and I think it's the same one (did it also have ads for W. Bell & Co and Eastern Airlines, among others?).
