My apologies to Nats fans outside the Washington, D.C. area who will be baffled by this post. Freda was the wife of popular boss jock Mike "Don Geronimo" Sorce of the Don and Mike Show. Don would frequently talk about her on the air and she was a frequent guest star, along with their son Bart. She was killed in a traffic accident on Sunday heading back from Ocean City (where I will be going tomorrow). Also, David Haynes, another boss jock at WPGC who used to work on the Don Geronimo show also died Sunday.

Both---but especially Freda---will be dearly missed.

She was an integeral part of the show - she'll be missed by more than just her family.
