They should have scored more than one freaking run off of Vogelsong.

Williams better be looking for a new job

He's not getting fired.

$70,000 per at bat.
He was pathetic. Don't gloss over it.

So... better or worse than two years ago?

Seriously. Who could've imagined that feeling got worse.

Then... this season. End the last freaking game on a no hitter. Then... this. An 18 inning... whatever the hell that was. 3 one-run sucks. Tonight. This team knows how to crush your hopes and dreams, defecate on them, hand them over to ISIS, then pour Ebola on them before leaving them in an unmarked grave.

Yeah, great night if you can't tell.

Blowing game 5 hurts worse.

yep. time to pull plug on Desmond and go for a more well-rounded hitter even if power is less.

No. Plug Desmond back in the 6 or 7 hole and enjoy his range, baserunning and occasional power

Yep, totally fine with Desi being on the team.  He needs to bat 6/7.

I told you Matt Williams sucked!

K I'm teasing he actually grew on me and yea the bats were to blame, we weren't going anywhere without hitting :(
Your post made me laugh though

Laughing through pain can remedy some of that pain.  MW's biggest mistake all season cost them the most IMO.  I have zero doubt ZNN would have won game 2 had Matt left him in.

And if Posey had hit a 2R HR?

So you'd rather lose one game and get eliminated?

why not just play a a giant 30 team playoff bracket style. this whole thing is a luckfest anyways. makes me sick. what's the point of playing 162 games???

No flippin way, Desi's occasional homer doesn't make up for the many many times he can't just get a freaking base hit, completely done with him.

I'd leave Williams off the plane. Let him celebrate with his favorite team.

Yeah werth didnt deliver but his at bats weren't pathetic like laroache and ramos. Williams put his lineup.out there and the players needed to do their jobs. They didn't. The bullpen choices cost them but the offense just wasn't there. You know what werth can do and that he isn't part of the HR or bust crew. Would like to see a place for souza, zimmerman instead on alr and then a quality middle infield acquisition or two.

I think I agree but losing Game 2 was close. No one wanted to admit it but we all knew that when they blew that game in the way that they did that the series was over. Too damn hard to win 3 straight. Series should be tied 2-2.

Losing in 2012 sucked bad and so does this one. They feel different though, in their own crappy ways.

Better because you could see it coming. 2012 was one damn pitch away. Here we were 6 outs and a whole 5th game away. No comparison.

He's responsible for a third of the runs in this series. Be completely done with your right fielder, your first baseman and your $100 million dollar bench bat that should be the third baseman that are paid to hit over the shortstop

You have to send Ramos and Gio packing. Gio just cannot get it done and Ramos only plays half of every year anyway. Need to see some big-time changes. Storen, Barrett and Soriano need to go too. And Danny Esmendoza.
