Nice ovation for Desi
Stras pitch count too high already.
(Image removed from quote.)It may be fine if you’re down low but the thick parts and the cable across the top are incredibly distracting.
That's a damn shame F'n knee-jerk reaction society is ruining everything.
Overnight they'll install netting in left field after Trea's missile
.583???
Hello old friends, been a while - day off work so I can finally join a GDT
They simply can't take away the thrill of catchin' (goin' after) a homer. It's in the Constitution.
I have mixed feelings but generally, I'm a'gin it. I was also against the netting in the hockey "endzones".
Baseball kind of created the problem by adding seats to the danger zone. It had a bit of a snowball effect because it rewards fouling off and gets even more balls heading that way and even worse drags out the games with a bunch of fouls that players can't get to any more. I would have tried calling hitters out if they hit it out of play ahead of the plate on 3rd strikes before the netting.
Stars not necessarily got his best stuff but making big pitches
...and they said it would be virtually "invisible."
