amazing we start off the road trip winning three of our first four games (including a 14-6 blowout) then we lose 5 straight.

i think riggleman needs to say something to this club before they depart

3 freaking walks? What honestly happened to Clippard these two series'? I hope this is just temporary.

If he's not injured then he sucks.  There are only two options here!

The more appropriate question might be, "what happened to Clippard earlier in the season when he was unhittable?"  This might be the real TC coming back to Earth.

It'd really make my night.

That's why I didn't ask it like that. I don't want it to be. We can't afford it to be.

He still is unhittable. He has the third lowest contact rate in all of baseball. He just has really crappy timing when he does give up the odd hit.

With the offensive constipation we've had, you think we're going to squeeze out another run?

Honestly I think he is either trying to overthrow or he lost a little bit of his edge one he got knocked around after his spectacular early start. To me it looks mental, like he isn't trusting his stuff at much a la Brian Bruney.

Did you hear Bob sound happy when he realized that Carpenter might still get the win?

Bob seems pissed that Nieves homer is the drive of the game.
