i'm not much of a Bruins fan, but watched it. A real nice home town read of the boards by Lindholm and Pastrnak on the winning goal. The dump in was into the opposite wing corner and caught the angle where it would bounce out in front of the net rather than slide around the corner, and Pastrnak got it in stride and put on a nice deek.

Feel bad more for Samsonov, who will continue to be labelled a dog, but happy for Swayman. Also, in the old 7th games make weird heroes, Hampus Lindholm?

Whoever here labelled MacAvoy a dog was onto something. If you listened to Suban between periods, when he said some guys were coming up short in the game, you know he wanted to say MacAvoy.

Finally, I didn't intend it, but I need something easy to digest last night for dinner, so I just boiled up some linguine topped with veggies, oil, and a bit of parmesan for flavor. Pasta!

I hate rooting for a Dallas team but seems the correct thing to do.

I have Edmonton advancing to the 3rd round, but if I have to pick a team left that I'd root for to win the Cup, it'd be Vancouver...

Draft Lottery is tonight.   A clear number one player so obviously the league will arrange for Chicago to get him.

Don't want him...not a generational/franchise player.  They will give it to Utah just to piss off Arizona fans....

Damn NY teams. The Avs were my pick to win it all before this round. Saw them down 3-0 last night and figured that was dumb.  Big comeback.

Montgomery has a decision. I think he sticks with Swayman because Ullmark didn't provide solid relief, but it looks like the Swayman code was broken. IF the code is broken and they lose game 3, it'll be tough to go to Ullmark down 2-1.

Par for the course with that group. Throw out Darnell Nurse and Codi Ceci as your second pair defense and you expect to give up lots of goals.

he's played bad enough to be hiding an injury in the last series, so maybe a real injury now wouldn't matter much.

Arrabiata last night

He took that Tkachuk right to the mush like a pro...first time I remember seeing him actually answering the call...good for him.

The Rat got run earlier so no real shot at rearranging that prominent structure between his eyes...maybe game 3...

That’s kind of ironic that Bennett scored the tying goal.  Or did he? Interference?

No interference. Would be pissed if I was a Bruins fan. Can’t wait for the league to explain that one.

Speaking of crimes. It’s criminal that the NHL refuses to have a day game and an early evening game at this stage of the playoffs. They insist on having a late start every evening.  Just criminal.

I turned the game on just as the review was happening. I don't know the NHL rule. I really thought there was a cross-check.

As for Bennett, he's not going to come back to Boston this year, so there's that.

If you push someone into their own goalie it’s the same as if you hit the goalie. So they blew the call. Maybe they felt it was just a live tap.
