For those of you that celebrate, I hope you all have a Happy Christmas.

I only heard about it this year about how people are supposed to say happy holidays instead of merry christmas. If people really do take offense to it, then I messed up. I sent christmas cards to most of  my clients and people in my contact list except for the people that I know are Jewish. My girlfriend said that at her place of work they knew because the boss wanted to play it safe. Most people older than me at the same dinner table at the christmas party who would fit the mold of boomers all said they don't give a flying f about it.

With a 2 year old, a 4, and a 5 in the grandkid generation addicted to Baby Shark, the trophy shark tee shirt is a hit as an alternate to a sweater

We just got back from my mom’s house a while ago. I knew it was going to be a strange-feeling Christmas because we lost my dad last July, but it was even stranger than I expected because my brother wasn’t here either. He moved to Louisiana last spring and he decided not to fly up for Christmas because he was here for work last week. It felt like more of an absence than I expected it to.

That’s not to say it was a terrible Christmas, just a weird and very different one.

My brother did send Ms1995hoo and me a present—Dugout Mugs World Series champion logo wine "glasses." Funny because I sent him two of their beer "mugs." Ms1995hoo gave me a new iPad (my old one was from 2012 and could no longer handle iOS updates) and my mom gave us some Allen Brothers steaks and a gift card to Fleming's.

Apparently I missed this thread, so from the "WE DID IT" thread... my Christmas haul...


So, being as this was everyone's first Christmas as fans of the World Series Champion Washington Nationals, what kind of sweet sweet World Series loot did y'all score? I got the following.

- Embroidered Pennant with the team logos of every post season series.
- "Fight Finished" hoodie- World Series Documentary Blu-Ray/DVD set
- A credit at the local frame shop to have my post season strip framed.
- Gerardo Parra signed World Series baseball with "19 WS Champions" inscription. (I was a tad bit obsessed with the Baby Shark craze last season.)
