Bottomline is this is about as good of a move as could be made to try and remain a contender the next few years. We don't give up anything of significance present value, we don't give up one of our very best prospects, and a hole is filled with a guy who has big upside at a discounted price, leaving money to spend on a corner bat, catcher, another SP, and a bullpen lefty.
