Moehler is throwing 86-mile-per-hour fastballs. This guy is like a soft-tossing right-handed version of John Lannan. Oh, wait. That sounds like a terrible pitcher.

Lannan throws 88-91 and actually has decent off-speed stuff.

This guy is almost 40 and is throwing nothing but junk. our offense sucks.

hammonds, Desmond 1/1 with a Single, RBI, Walk, and SB so far today.

He hasn't been eye-popping as of late but he's been damn solid.

SF you are smarter then that, Morgan is suppose to hit ball on ground.  Just needs to be a little more patience for harder hit balls.

he is supposed to hit the ball on the ground to the outfield. he barely even hits the ball hard. rarely makes solid contact.

you have to hit the ball hard to get it through the infield to make up for a severe lack of power.

Buchholz gave up 4 earned runs to the chiefs (inning still going on) ... we're up 4-2 (bally baby ... casto/morse with good games too)

and JZ is in the zone today, c'mon nats bats.

JZ with a clutch 6-pitch inning. He could use another of those.

The Nationals really do miss Jesus Flores, hopefully next year is his year to blossom

I've always felt Bucholz is overrated. no-hitter was a fluke. He has always sucked balls when in the Majors for the most part.

AAAA pitcher. it's not like he's really young.

Dude, is Clay Buchholz the guy who helped Adam Dunn run over your cat?

yep. they are rolling over for Moehler. only Wil is hitting the ball solid to the opposite field which is what you have to do against him.

1 run may be enough.

i hate cats :spaz:

look at Bucholz's numbers last year with Boston: 2-9, 6.75 ERA. He turns 25 next month. overrated

buchholz hasn't given up more than 3 earned runs in a game all year long until today.  he'd be a #3 or #4 for like 26 teams right now.

i can't believe we are getting destroyed by moehler.  this could be the all-time low for being a nats fan.

for the record..

I dunno about "infield" outs, but Morgan is 10th in the NL in Outs Made.

and before you start foaming at the mouth about it, Sportsfan...go look and see who is 3rd in the NL in Outs Made.

yes, exactly.  He has not been patience enough to be a hard hitter.  Maybe watching a Nick Johnson he will become a smarter hitter.
