I kept track of this game all night while at the Pnats game. A really good outing from Marquis and we couldn't put 2 or more runs across! It shows the Guy CAN pitch.
Not to be a downer, but he still had control issues. Four walks I believe and he was missing so wildly sometimes I figure something is off with his release. I'm surprised he only gave up one run.
That said, he only gave up one run through five.
Hopefully he can build on this start and gain some confidence.
