he's just an innocent old man.

EDIT- I apologize for the venting.  I probably am overreacting, but this is killing me.  Just let me vent, please.

Don't apologize.  Keep venting.  We all have our own ways of dealing with losing, and if the whiny uber-sunshine ninnies don't like it, they should just freak off.

No way he leaves and ends his career on this.

No...you're right...he seldom makes the right decision...

We had what, two position players (LaRoche, Werth) and one pitcher (Jackson) with postseason experience? They'll bounce back. I like the makeup of this team.

Suzuki doesn't, I dont think, but he was huge as well.

Not surprising that Davey went to Jackson, reflecting on how young all the yungins were playing. It didn't work out, but I don't mind the decision in hindsight as much as I did at the time.

biggest blunder IMHO - Jackson over Mattheus in the 7th.

Can we get better bullpen arms in the off season?  No way we stick with these bums next season, especially Storen.

Storen is ruined.  Might as well cut bait now.

Clippard more than Storen. Burnett too.

You're a freaking dope.  Dude hit 97 on the gun and has thrown strikes since he came into the league.

The only thing Storen needs is a bigger set of balls for the big games and he'll be fine.

Some players never do (SEE: A-Rod).  He's useless if he never does, especially if we will CONTEND FOR YEARS TO COME like Rizzo claims we will.

All closers get beaten, especially by good teams.

This loss is on Davey Johnson. Any other team would have removed their closer, after he gave up 2 runs to tie the game.  You don't leave your closer in after THAT. We only needed ONE more out.

(The check swing call in the 9th looked incorrect.)

The whole team learned from this awful mess.  They'll come back mentally stronger, and hopefully physically next year.

Terrible, terrible team loss.  Fans lose most.

Outside of 2009, he's been an awful playoff player.

As a former Red Sox fan, I can attest and have felt this feeling many times.  Don't fret, we will be better...stronger and more mature next year.  Stay positive.   I can't wait till next season...

His career playoff OPS is well over .800
