it's meant to be a desert/pallet cleanser, they serve a small glass of it.

That's what I read.  I mean it's different than Lipton, right?  And I'm sure not all Brits drink fancy schmancy high end expensive teas, there have got to be mainstream brands.  Not that all Brits drink tea

English Breakfast tea is actually a quite characterful blend - way better than run-of-the-mill Lipton. It's available at Harrods Food Halls and from Twinings and other sources.

I ended up getting some Twinings.  It's a lot stronger than Lipton, if that's the correct terminology.  It's darker when brewed, closer to coffee than Lipton.

The drink machine at work has Mello Yello :woop:

I know I'm supposed to be on a diet, but I had to get one, it's been forever since I drank one.

Dude, it's a lifestyle change.  Diets end, you have to eat for the rest of your life.

Anyone try Pepsi Next yet?  It's supposed to be a lower calorie soda, but not completely "diet."  Coke had something called "C2" a while back that I liked, it was less syrupy than regular Coke but didn't have the artificial taste of full on diet.

I got a bottle of Pepsi Next but I haven't tried it yet, I threw it in the fridge before I left for work today to get cold for when I get off.

Pepsi Next is really good.  Not as good as Dr Pepper 10, but really good regardless.

Mountain Dew Throwback (real sugar plus original mid-60's label design) is making another re-appearance.

Well, the Passover reason has to do with not being able to have corn syrup.  as to why not other times of the year, I don't  know.  Can you really taste the difference between corn syrup and can sugar?

I just get a kick out of how verbotten the  use  of the word "sugar" has become.  Now Trader Joes says it uses evaporated cane syrup in its cereals.

*Organic* evaporated cane juice. C'mon. And hey, it's got trace quantities of minerals and such.

so after looking around, reading a ton of reviews, and talking to friends, it looks like this is the keurig to buy:

http://www.staples.com/Keurig-OfficePRO-Commercial-Coffee-Brewer/product_853653

the only downside is that it doesn't allow you to use the adapter that lets you use your own grounds, but it seems kind of silly to buy a keurig then continue to grind your own beans.

How are these things.  My old boss just bought one and was raving about it to me for about 15 minutes a few minutes ago.  Said he got one for $98 and it was the best thing ever.  And this is a guy that makes the Lerner family look like free spenders ;)

Just started using these things and so far so good.  The "Tropical" is pretty fruity and effervescent.
