Harvey threw like 10 pitches. Finnegan only threw 6. They should be usable again if needed.

This had to happen. They can't be trotting out Gallo and Rosario every day.
Its not like Call is much of an improvement. He certainly isn't at the plate.

Joey Gallo is at 0.1 bWAR.  Rhys Hoskins is at 0.2. So we saved money.

Alex Call getting called up
Got the call. Or was it a text?

Well, we used both Harvey and Finny.   Nothing really gained
we used the bullpen pretty much as designed and rested Weems. That's a plus

Alex Call getting called up

Who is he replacing? Rosario is my guess. It’s interesting to me that 29 other GM’s saw something and didn’t sign him in spite of a decent season with the Braves. I thought his bat swing was very slow.

we’re at a different stage of rebuild
Yea I mean they averaged 110 losses the three non covid years from 2018-21.  The Nats seemed to enter the rebuild 2021. Not having the top draft pick this year hurts.  I think next year would be fair to see some progress with the young players reaching MLB and more wins.
