I could try. But this is a really good dude (despite his affinity for the Phillies) and he's a great ballplayer who I'd like to have play for us again next year. 
Well, I mean, you've got to do what you've got to do, then. I hope that he knows your disdain for the Phils to know that ambivalence is as good cheering for them for a night.
