why not a safety squeeze?
game over.
Why not just have him try to hit a fly ball?Holy crap. Riggleman is clueless. No way in any scenario should he be the manager next year.
oh shuddup. it's the 6th inning.
You know jack crap about baseball. How about you let the professionals handle the decision making?
freaking awful. this team is freaking awful. this is one of the most frustrating losses of the year.
If we win this game, Chief bans You for a Month. If we lose, Chief bans Me for a Month. deal?
and you don't know anything either. stfusince when is this team capable of executing a suicide squeeze? Willingham is slow and Gonzalez has shown he can't handle the bat.
Reds trivia again(tough one here)OK got a feeling a lot of you will be looking this one up.This Reds player had his number retired and then reactivated 2 years later. The number was then retired for another player later, who was this player and what number was it?
no thanks. I want to be able to post about SS tonight and tomorrow.
You clearly don't understand the concept of a suicide squeeze. It's supposed to be a surprise so what happened doesn't happen. If Gonzalez gets the ball in play, it's a run and you're cheering like it was the move of the year.
Will post answer after the 7th inning
what would ever lead Jim to believe that Gonzalez can get that ball in play? It was a terrible pitch to make contact with too. breaking ball way inside.still, he should have fouled it off. but that doesn't mean it wasn't a terrible decision to call for the play in the first place.
