I prefer the radio too, but Bob Carpenter is actually a really nice guy. He chatted with a small group of fans for quite a while at the picnic yesterday. He earned points with me by saying that he has grown to dislike the joint broadcasts when we play the Orioles. 
He really engaged with the fans, talking about Dibble's and Debbie's departures, how hard it is to judge fly balls from the booth (ha!), the new MASN negotiations, etc. He really is a good guy.
Still works for Angelos - remains suspect.
Really looking forward to this long road trip with a week and a half of C&D radio broadcasts - Nats on the road doesn't get any better than that.
