Holy crap Werth was awful this series.  I just can't get my head around it, he was so freaking terrible.

Pence makes a catch that Span didn't make in game one.  Span makes that catch and the Nats are likely up 1-0 in the series.  Tough catches in both cases, but you make plays, you win games.  You don't, you make excuses.  Pence doesn't hit for a month, goes on to show Werth how a right fielder should hit.  He's a wack job, but his team is moving on.  Nice beards Werth and LaRoche...Only compliment I can possibly muster.

2012 is way worse.  They were on the verge of winning that series.  They never had that in this series.

Are you going to be okay?  This was your shortest post ever.

I'm going to the bunker, block all the air vents, and shut the blast-bay door. Goodbye, world!

No, seriously, bunker, where art thou? The only thing that'll make this worse? The fact our local news is going to be pleasuring themselves to the Orioles for the next week. After tonight, you don't want baseball for months yet. Unfortunately, such shan't be the case: "Live from Orioles Park - O MADNESZ!!!1!1 Cal Ripken Rox!"

Like I said, bunker, sealed, asphyxiate.

You have to send Ramos and Gio packing. Gio just cannot get it done and Ramos only plays half of every year anyway. Need to see some big-time changes. Storen, Barrett and Soriano need to go too. And Danny Esmedoza.

Soriano and LaRoche are definitely gone. I think everyone else you listed is back though.

Well gentlemen (and ladies), I enjoyed sharing this season with you.  Don't hang your heads, we were beaten by a better team in a close, classic series. I have no doubt that we'll be back next year  What I'll most take away is that we've seen the future core of offense come into its own - next year's 2-3-4-5 of Rendon/Werth/Zimmerman/Harper will be an improvement over what we saw this year.

Enjoy everyone!

I was looking forward to spring training.  Not so much right now.  Hard to feel good about this team the way they played.

This one hurts more for me because this was our year-overcoming the injuries and slow,start- taking over the Braves! Etc.  Matt Williams a rookie manger and friend of Mike Rizzo needs to shoulder the loss.

Ditto. But I don't think we were beaten by a better team.

I feel like this is worse overall because this team was better and should have taken it to a weaker giants team. 2012 was a disappointment in game 5 but they were lucky to be there and likely weren't going to progress with the likes of espinosa in the lineup. This sucks because they simply gave it away..

Gio gave us a chance to win, 0 earned runs tonight.  Really can't fault him.  When we're scoring 1-2 runs a game we aren't going to win very many.

They dump a bunch of these turds and I'll get excited. Too many bowl snakers weighing this organization down.

This one hurts more to me. They only won one game. We had only two games in DC and neither were a win. And I thought this team was much better. It feels like the end of something, too.

I wouldn't count on it. Werth is done. So is Zim. Team sucks.

How is a one-armed baseball player not done? Trade him to the AL and get some prospects.

Zim should have taken over for La Rouche. He is the leader and clutch player

Gio also flubbed an easy grounder. Two runs there. The guy is mentally weak. First sign of adversity and he's like a teenage girl.

When the pitcher is the error, I feel like it still counts as earned.  In my heart, at least.

He's a head case. Get him out of here. Get somebody mentally prepared. It's not funny anymore.

Zimmerman ripped his hamstring in half running to first base. He has no right shoulder joint. Zimmerman could easily be done.
