PANats said he thought Kennedy would have a better year than O-Dog.

It's only may.

also, can we please not throw ourselves off the ledge just because we lost a series?

Sometimes it's all you can do:

split in STL, sweep the O's, and were back in business.

three reasons we lost today:

1) our offense let jeff francis off the hook ... he was pretty good, but we had our chances and we failed big time.

2) scott olsen couldn't get a bunt down ... he pitched a great game and i love the way he's throwing, but you have to get that bunt down.

3) tyler clippard walked the leadoff hitter in the 8th ... i yelled out OH freak at the bar when he walked the leadoff hitter and he gets a lot of the blame.  you just can't walk a leadoff hitter that late in the game especially with 1) the top of the order coming up and 2) the fact the hitter was a pinch-hitter.  don't give me that crap that clip is overworked, he hasn't pitched in days.  he just flat out made a mistake and paid for it.

my sunday is ruined thanks a lot nats.  you better win tomorrow.

This is truly rock bottom.

Baseball Tonight is talking to Jeff Francis like he's some great conqueror.  Our offense let this happen!  >:(

Every team hits rough patches.  How many other teams have even made it this far into the season without 3 consecutive losses?

Exactly. This series sucked. It's over now. How will the Washington Rizzo-Guys respond?

Losing 3 games in 2 days sucks. Losing these one run games sucks worse. But now there's a reasonable reliever around. Honestly, I would have used a starting pitcher on his bullpen day over Bruney to show Rizzo the situation yesterday.

Win some, lose some - it's only May, and we are still above .500. we're doing great, for this time of year.  :woop:
We are not going to win every game nor every series, but being .500 or a little above, has been a long time coming, and I am enjoying it........on to St. Louis.
Although the Cardinals are kind of pissed about losing their last nine games, so don't expect a sweep of these two games - this might be another 2 games that you keep a bottle of Tylenol close by.......I'm just saying........prepare for the worst, and be surprised when good things happen...
