I don't get why we keep sending him out there every 5 days. He never gives us a chance to win and we always have to burn through our already depleted pen when he pitches. I'd take anyone in AAA or AA over this guy.

I think I would too, and I don't like starting Bowie either, but he did all we could expect last night. Speigner is in over his head. Fortunately for us, so is Thompson. Speigner strikes out, passed ball, takes 2nd on a wild throw to 1st base.

I don't know what we ever saw in Speigner. The guy can't pitch at all.
