We got in line at 1st Base Gate about 15 minutes before it opened. The retired players were handing out the rings when we went in but they were causing the line to move slowly because many people tried to stop and chat with them. The ring is really nice for a giveaway, easily one of the nicest things they've ever given away.

It was a well executed celebration by the Nats overall. And a lot of the Astros fans around us are clearly bitter and tired of the frequent boos and shouts of "CHEATER!!!" that they had to endure. That ending was the icing on the cake

I've really enjoyed hearing Zim in the booth the two or three times he's done it. He comes across as authentic, full of insight and quick witted. We rarely if ever got to see this side of him during his time as a player.

We are very lucky to have Zim, I enjoyed listening to him visit with Charlie and Dave as well

They should send him to Tampa for those 45 days.

He mentioned that the Nats need to bring Howie "Back in-house."  Hope he has some pull in that area...
