Shorter games, smaller rosters and you can resurface the ice pretty quickly. With baseball you have the elements to deal with, the fact that you can't just resurface the outfield between games, etc. The NHL issue will be locker rooms but the arenas themselves can handle multiple games a day.
The same goes for basketball as hockey. For football, it's the same as baseball. Longer games played outdoors, limited locker room capacity, larger rosters, fields getting torn up every game, etc.
There’s no limit on the time for playoff hockey games. They can go on all day or night.
