Our pitching did a great job this series. We essentially shut down Rollins, Utley, Howard, and Burrell. A shame we couldn't take the series, oh well. At least we didn't get swept.

Winning one game after losing 12 straight is nothing to get excited about.  Any team that loses that manny has to recognize that serious changes are needed, beyond simply getting better players.

Obviously, we need to think about replacing Debbi Taylor...

Amazing we hold the Phillies to 12 runs in 3 games and only win 1 game.  Three good performances by our starters.  Our fielding sucks,  our middle relief is barely adequate, and of course our hitting is horrible so I guess winning once is amazing.

Nope, just checked it. The reason the throw looked perfect was because Hernandez fileded it where it was. Had he been where you suggested he would've had to reach or lunge forward for the ball.

Yeah, he played tonight and in the his first AB he got HBP and had to leave the game. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.
