...Should McCatty be the pitching coach for the Nationals?  Who knows. However I think it would be wise to bring McCatty up for a month to work with all the pitchers.

YES!

McCATTY has the CAT vote!

freaking ridiculous. It's on the coach.

Look at Howard's numbers against the rest of the league. pretty mediocre.

He has half his freaking HRs and RBIs off of us.

They need to start giving splits of players VS St. Claire and VS other teams.

I believe NatsAddict mentioned it earlier this season when showing the Marlins' stats.

shut the freak up, Bob. Just because he is a bad outfielder means that they should not score his defense like the rest of the league? That makes no sense.

No Bob, no Rob, you don't grade fielding plays on a curve.  If it's an error for Dunn, it's an error for Ichiro.

Manny has completely lost this team, if he ever had them.

The pitching coach shouldn't call the pitches during the games. I think St. Claire is one of 3 or 4 in the majors who does it. It's retarded. Major League freaking catchers should be smart enough to call their own games. crap, even Wieters calls his own games for Baltimore.

Agreed.

Three 1-2-3 scoreless innings in 5 games in Philly this season. :?

Man Carpenter and Dibble are just killing St. Claire whether they know it or not. They have been just bashing the crap out of the pitching on this team.

So lets just play tee ball for all the pitchers in the league to hit off of to even it out.

It would be different if the pitching coach was actually doing a good job but as we have seen that is far from the case.

Let the pitcher/catcher call the pitches as they see fit. We seriously need a new pitching coach who just helps the guys with mechanics and gives them the tools to succeed. We don't need him to call pitches, just to inform the hitters/pitchers how to accurately pitch to certain hitters.

Now that's when we really need the ball to be where an infielder wasn't!
