I think he left because he had maximized Wisconsin and now Urban Meyer had moved in down the road and all of a sudden Michigan State and Michigan were looking very good as the conference as a whole looked to dip with the new additions. The inability to pay his assistants competitive salaries and not having SEC level facilities just helped out. At Arkansas he'll have a heavy financial war chest, better recruiting grounds, and can slip into a National Championship with one loss.

I'm excited for the future.

Interested to see if his staff is more Big 10 or SEC flavored. Bret Bielema, to me at least, seems to epitomize everything Big 10. Don't think he'll turn his back on what has worked at Wisconsin.
