We need to bring back old-timey baseball names. These are all great.

Nuñez just seems completely redundant with Made and Cruz in the system.

Infield fly is the same thing as a popup, right? A bit strange his overall line is as good as it is with a popup rate that high.

Corbin's role once Gray is healthy has to be relief mop up.

0-2, 2BBs, and a K yesterday. He's back to major league levels.

"So, what kind of music do you like?"
"Um, I'm not sure..."

that's the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

Offer Gallo to the Marlins for the full rights to Nunez. If Miami doesn't agree, then DFA both.
It's not the weirdest thing, especially if we pick up a good chunk of his salary. They are clearly in a throw in the towel mode, they have enough holes that he could get ABs, and they could flip him. I'd actually like to free up some roster spots, too. i'm not sure I'm in the cut them mode like you are, but the short bench with Nunez is a bit of a problem.

well, it's less than a week, but his line continues to improve. 11 BBs in 94 PAs with 12 Ks. That's great.

Last year, they waited to almost 300 PAs and 66 games before bumping him to A+. He ran a .219 ISO in A, but I'm not so concerned about power not showing in Wilmington and the Sally league. He's got about 265 PAs in A+ after his promotion, so a bump up could be in order. Defensively, it's early, but he's been mostly splitting time between CF and right. The one weird thing in his stat line is he's hitting a lot of infield flies (34%). That's like a K, and maybe explains the lack of ISO. There was a chunk of that at Frederickburg last year too (24%).
