Joba looks as goofy as Stammen looks mean

I wish Fox Sports had a mug shot of Stammen. I like using those photos more.

Where does everyone get the mlb.com mug shots from? I have the link to Stammen's but can't find where Joba's would be. No need for the real mug shot of Joba... just looking for the baseball one.

Courthouse where that picture was taken is about 5 minutes from my house and about 8 blocks from the new place I'm moving to this weekend.  He's a folk legend around here.

Do I think we will win? No. But we could actually win a series in NY, against the Yankees... That would be amazing. But I have a feeling that Stammen is going to get BLOWN UP. Yankees hitting doesn't get held down by starters for too long...

The Yanks are going to light up Stammen (he hasn't been particularly good in any of his recent starts) and if Joba's on his game he's going to make some of our hitters (Zimmerman, Dukes, Hernandez particularly) look stupid with his breaking stuff.

Not too excited about this one folks.

Ok, here's the 64 dollar question. You just beat the Yankees with good pitching and defense. Any reason to change the lineup that accomplished that (other than the standard need to swap catchers)?

I can't believe we are stuck actually starting Harris in LF and playing Corey Patterson in CF due to injuries, Willingham's bereavement, mostly Kearns's amazing sucktitude. But Manny hasn't been able to commit to a stable lineup all season. And there is no reason for Dunn not to DH during interleague play (except for one game where you let Zimmerman do it.). But they just won with a crisp performance. If I see Manny come out with a lineup card that has some combination of Dunn in the field, Belliard at 2B, and Kearns in RF, it will be clear to me that Manny has lost his mind.

I think there's less than a 20% chance this gets played.
I have no idea when they will make this up, but the odds are that the Yankees might need this game later in the season.

It's a day game - Nats have to take a train home, Yanks head to Florida. Guessing they wait out rain delays.

I am guessing that means it is raining really hard up in NY?

Rain belt's not very deep, I'm guessing the game may be delayed an hour or so but they'll get it in, neither team has THAT far to go for their next set.

Even if the union and the commissioner sign off? guess it's been tried before . . .

Nobody would agree. They did it when the same two teams were involved but not three teams. Too many teams would cry foul.

i like the way we've been swinging the bat the last three games, let's beat up on joba the hut today.

The US soccer team is way more frustrating to watch than the Nats.

Awesome sport, IMO. I watch more soccer-football than baseball these days.

Yeah, they're getting it handed to them right now.  I've found myself getting into more of this international soccer stuff lately.  Not planning to start following it like I do football and baseball, but these games at the top levels are actually really entertaining.

Lacrosse and Ice Hockey are far better IMO. Too slow, too much trying to set up the prefect shot.
