People here are way to quick to try and rush players.

Hood may be the one guy you don't want to rush. He is coming along nicely. Why rush him and risk hurting his confidence if he isn't ready for the next level yet? He's still a raw hitter, and while he is improvement, you don't promote him at the first sign of improvement. Confidence is a big part of that improvement, so keeping him at Potomac for the entire year IMO is easily the best way to keep him moving forward as a prospect. If you rush him, and the hits aren't coming, he could start to press and start the free swinging again. Let him build his confidence here as a hitter, which in turn will help his confidence in his own pitch selection.

I don't have a problem with keeping him in Potomac all year, but ideally he'd continue to hit well over .300 (and with power) in Potomac and get a chance to experience AA for a little bit. I'd only be willing to promote him if he keeps hitting like has in the last few weeks.
