Wait wasnt Dmitri batting from the left?  Because Bob just said thats "the second right handed batter thats been struck out?"  I thought he was a switchy, plus I swear he was on the left.

Only 1 run, but Olson won't be in the game for long.  20 pitches in the first inning.

He was batting right-handed.

Why would he bat righty against a left-handed pitcher.  I havent really paid attention lately, but has he been batting from the right only.

Huh? Dmitri is a switch hitter. He bats left-handed against right-handed pitchers and he bats right-handed against left-handed pitchers.

Isn't batting righty against a lefty what you're supposed to do?

When we get a decent offense, Lannan could be a Cy Young winner.

effin' Lopez thinks he's a HR hitter. He doesn't know what a line drive is.

Full count to Lannan is a successful at-bat already.  A hit or a walk is gravy.

Befuddling decision by Guzman to swing at the first pitch after Olson walked the pitcher.
