I notice the advertisement for Pep Boys. Dad used to take me to his favorite Pep Boys, over on Rhode Island Ave. I still remember the afternoon when he pointed to the new 1964 VWs being sold just near Pep Boys. "I hear they get great gas mileage...and only about $1700, too."
