The subject of members' post counts has come up recently and in the spirit of experimentation I thought we could try disabling the display of post count in the main forum/threads.
You would no longer see "Posts: #####" under a user's name. Post count and statistics could still be viewed by clicking the user's name to view their profile, but that's not as in-your-face.
The idea that post count matters is a bit dated - if you're active, you'll generally make a name for yourself one way or another, and others will get to know you.
Thoughts? Aye? Nay? Don't give a bleep?
