There can only be one YoYo for me.

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/134598481/harry-shifren

Doesn’t say it in here but he was a homeless guy in West Philly near the Palestra. Wish I could find a video of his antics but no luck.

“Philadelphia Folk Figure. Best known for his antics at Big 5 (Philadelphia City Series) basketball games at the Palestra, he was the unofficial mascot of the arena from the 1950s through the 1970s. He would come onto the court at halftime and do a little dance and then attempt a free throw, which he usually missed. After the construction of Veterans Stadium in 1971, he became a regular at Phillies games as well, usually sneaking in, and would dance to Hava Nagila. His popularity led to then Phillies President Bill Giles giving him a lifetime pass to the team in an on-field ceremony. When he passed away in 1979, the Phillies organization paid for his funeral and he was buried with a special unissued 1978 Phillies World Series pin.”

.323   .447   .484    so far in 8 games in Wilmington. Surprisingly he has yet to hit a HR at any level so far.

Yoyo Morales ranks second in all of High-A and Single-A combined with 28 RBI since Aug. 1 – the day he joined Single-A Fredericksburg.

His .375 batting average ranks second and his .450 on-base percentage ranks fourth over that same span (min. 100 PA)

Probably 1B with house at 3rd and Meneses at dh.  Morales probably slide to dh as he gets older

Meneses was a nice find and good story but they’re going to need a better bat at DH than him once the top prospects are promoted to DC and the team is again going for it.

Maybe Yoyo is the 3B to be, since nobody blocks anybody. If Lipscomb or House or Yoyo is the best, then start the best. All three are a long way from the majors. For that matter, any of the three could be a good-fielding 1B. The position needs a guy who can field like Keith H or Donnie M or Dom. It makes a difference to have an attacking infielder at first, rather than a big guy who stands and catches throws.

If all three are good enough? "Good, better, best / never let it rest / until your Good is Better and you Better Best". A jingle I learned in elementary school in DC.

3rd base is beginning to look like an organizational pile up. Not that that is bad, but you have 2 guys in the majors, 3 at Harrisburg, and 1  at Wilmington who all play the position and have shown a lot: Kieboom, Alu, Lipscomb, House, Morales, and a Murphy Stehly, a 2022 draft pick they just bumped up from Wilmington to Harrisburg.

Another wrinkle in our situation with morales, house, lipscomb, Meneses, and I guess kieboom is that a large number of players that will be available around where we pick in next years draft are 1B/DH types in white, condon, caglianone, Kurtz,

I'm cheering for first and second wave prospects. Catcher seems good, and so might 3B. Need more outfielders: I trust that Crews will make it, but I'm not so sure about Wood and Hassell. (Compare the Nats, with Thomas and ? and ? to the current Marlins). And more starting pitchers: Rutledge and then, a long way out and several "maybes", is Sykora.

I remember when Frank Howard was moved to first base. That was brutal lol.
