I can't believe people are complaining about Lannan being pulled. WTF, he's clearly had it for the night.

Awesome outing.

Hell, if he has two more like this he could be the Nats' lone representative at the ASG.

That would be funny.

Lannan not happy. you could see him saying "mother freaker" in the dugout

he knows that we are freaked with our bullpen having to come in and pitch

Tough call here. Lannan was starting to leave stuff up, but I'd rather let him go ahead and try and finish it.

now would be a good time to have some good fortune.  I'm thinking a ground ball to Hernandez type of good fortune.

I already explained my stance.  If you're too dense to understand it, then so be it.

Gotta keep the pitches low and outside here.

If we had a real closer, this wouldn't be as big of a deal. But MacDougal is completely unpredictable. He may not give up a bomb, but he may not be able to throw strikes.

it's different because we don't have a good closer/relief pitcher. If we had someone reliable to go to in the pen I would definitely take him out but bringing in MacDougal over Lannan doesn't seem like much of an upgrade.

They would probably kill ARod in that scenario.
