Manny probably just got the full year.

Can a win really be a loss for the organization in the long run?

Tomorrow's Tabloid Headline:

"Lannan beats Wang: Girardi fired after loss to lowly Nats"

No, they'll blame it on the real Yankee, Jeter, not playing.

Nice to seeing the kid trusting his stuff and pounding the strike zone. He's actually started to get respect from the umps with 2 strikes. That's big.

Yes, he was getting some borderline calls, but he was nailing the glove and throwing with conviction, it was an easy sell.

Kinda feel bad that Wang takes a loss after giving up "only" 3 runs and almost getting a "quality start" I bet his ERA dropped below 20 now

We'll probably wake up to news of an extension.

"New York had been 23-0 when allowing three runs or fewer, the only unbeaten team in the majors in that category, and had won 33 in a row dating to last year, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. ... Dunn's drive was the sixth homer in the majors this season on a 3-0 count, according to STATS LLC. Only three of Dunn's 296 home runs have come on 3-0 counts."

Said Adam Dunn: "I forgot how happy I could be after a baseball game."

Someone needs to put the curly W up next to the Thread.
