Spurs beat Luton, 1 - 0. Or, in the British way f saying, 0 - 1 since they played at Luton. Not necessarily a great game, but a win is still 3 points.

The Global Powerhouse defeated the Socceroos (Australia) 1 - 0 in a 'something to do when it's a Euro's qualifying weekend, but you haven't a qualifier,' friendly - if there is such a thing as a 'friendly' between England and Australia...Not the greatest game, but only to be expected as Southgate used it for a bit of team experimentation, But a win's a win... ;)

The Global Powerhouse secured qulification, for the Euro's, with an impressive 3 - 1 victory over Italy, at Wembley. Now if they could only do this in a final... ;)

Spurs beat Fulham, 2 - 0, taking top of the PL table, about two points clear of Arsenal and Man City. Tottenham might not have the depth to survive many injuries, but they play only Premier League and FA Cup games from here, while other strong teams will wear themselves down playing "in Europe".

Eagles managed two goals to bet lowly Burnley yesterday.  So at number 10. Right in the middle of the Table as usual.  Just 10 goals in 12 games. Tottenham can regain the lead tomorrow with a win against Chelsea.

Or not. Two Spurs red cards, six or seven goals disallowed -- both teams -- for off-sides. Chelsea wins 1 - 4. Back to work.

Missed that.  Was hoping Chelsea would get relegated this season but I guess not.

Pochettino is too good to let Chelsea be relegated, but it was a poor showing by his team. Spurs lost two players, and two stars got hurt -- "The President", James Maddison and "The Flying Dutchman", Mickey Van de Ven (super fast defender). Chelsea could not score, even though Tottenham's manager pushed his team forward all game...rather than pack everyone near the goal. This is how we play, said Ange Postecoglu.

Of tonight's CL games, Milan v PSG is probably the most entertaining to watch, if you're looking for highlights...

Have not seen but sounds like Pulisic left again with an injury? Like a broken record. Feel bad for him.   Can’t stay on the field. Oops.  I mean pitch.

He did. The game showed the issues surrounding Ligue 1 - I watched PSG v Montpellier, the other evening, where PSG were completely dominant in a one-sided game. Same team, Mbappe and all, but you'd never know it when up against better quality opposition. Ligue 1 is in danger of becoming another Scotttish Premiership...

And the Bundesliga seems already to be the Scottish league. Bayern Munich looks like the Dodgers playing in an AA league. When B-M wins its league, will Harry Kane's trophy mean much?

Looking in on the CL game between PSV EIndhoven and Lens. Couldn't help but notice the field side advertizing - 'those nights you never forget - that UCL feeling...'. I never knew that University College London had such an effect... :D  ;)

trying to remember . . . Eindhoven was on the route to Arnhem (bridge too far), right?
