The Junkies have been talking a lot about D.C. area fans who are now rooting for the Ravens.
Wait ... they're talking about local sports and not Lurch Papa's gambling addiction picks?

I wanted the Redskins to go 2-14, get Bruce Allen fired, and a top 3 pick.

But going 4-12 or 5-11 thanks to a strong finish due to Dwayne Haskins looking good and Bruce Allen still getting fired would be more than worth the pick being around #5 or #6.

Emphasis placed because, well, it's important.

Bruce Allen comes back and get ready for Kevin O'Connell getting the head coach bump and hiring the saddest assistant staff in the NFL.

The situation is poisonous but there is some hope if they let Bruce Allen walk. Bruce Allen stays? I just don't see how it gets better. No one in the NFL with credibility will want to walk through the door at Redskins Park.

Wow Philly is bad. I mean, Peterson is still pretty good, but not THAT good.

What difference does it make?  If Tweedle Dee does go, Dweedle Dum is still picking his replacement.

As long as Snyder owns the team, it doesn’t matter

PEDERSON.

They won--just need to beat the Cowgirls next week

Dwayne Haskins with a strong game and Redskins lose? Perfect combo.

Need a bottom out season to be a true rock bottom season.

Adrian, not Doug.

They're not beating Dallas if yesterday's 4 o'clock game is an indication.

Gburg, you really need Slate to take that bet:

Yeah, well, now that you've shared the news that Danny has a new man crush (Alex Smith, taller, fitter, and more handsome) Slate will never take the bet.

I don't make bets so it was irrelevant.

Allen MIGHT get moved away from football operations, temporarily. But he's basically the only friend Dan Synder has. Snyder isn't firing his friend.

Bruce is just going to be removed from football operations and told to focus on business/stadium deal. And it'll just be a paper transaction because Bruce will still be involved in football ops.

Bruce is a political survivor - if he stays it will be LaFamina or Mccloughan all over again. No one who has other options is going to take the job with Bruce sitting there ready to push them out at the first opportunity

As this is what purportedly was happening in the Scot days before Allen's Al Haig-like reassertion of authority, this should keep the decline in interest chugging along.

Is Washington still in the league?

[the above is based on a famous 1930's baseball one-liner]
