Because he would have said he's buying a NSX.

Its like saying you bought a Nissan when you bought a GT-R or a Cheverolet when you buy a Corvette.

Acura NSX? If it were one of those, yeah.

Oh for sure, legit swag if he's managed to procure a NSX a full year before anyone else can. But, my money is on a TL.

Don't get me wrong, its a nice car. But for a 19 year old guy who's full of himself and about as arrogant as you can be, its sort of a boring car ...

19 year olds are also pretty easily impressed.  There's also the "anything I do has to be awesome" syndrome that a lot of guys like that have.

So, not only is he a tool, but he's dumb.

No, not buying it. At 19 I knew an Acura was a nice Honda. And I still wanted BMWs, Mercedes and Porsche

Shrug.  I wasn't selling you anything, so I don't really care if you buy it.  Just offering possible explanations.  Maybe he was raised "the right way" and still thinks an Acura is a big deal or is just being reasonably fiscally responsible.

At the end of the day, he's rich and buying a car.  Big whoop.

Bryce is failing. He's supposed to be that polarizing superstar that we love to hate unless he's on our team, then we love. But we hate him more when he sells out and signs with the Yankees.

Does that sound like someone who drives an Acura?

Maybe he's just doing it to piss you off.  Next he'll be volunteering at a burn ward and adopting shelter animals.

Hey, look on the bright side...  if he becomes a big enough face, he could become hated for being TOO wholesome, like Tebow ;)

He'd look smooth driving around in one of those with a Duke sticker in the back window.

So he makes a sensible decision (as opposed to buying a TVR or Lamborghini) and he still gets jumped on? Kid can't win

Eh, I see Bryce driving an IS 350. Douche and ill-advised. Maybe even an IS-F

It's not possible that he's buying an older NSX? Perhaps he's of the Gran Turismo era and likes some "old school" ricer power... Granted, I posted a pic of the upcoming NSX, but still, when you have that kind of money, you can do pretty much as you please. Hell, perhaps he went and prepaid/ordered a new NSX.

Under, or along side the Cowboys and Yankees ones?

Along side. Definitely. Taking up the whole back window so he can't see out it.

Again, if you're going to buy a NSX, you don't go saying you bought a Honda/Acura. He would have said, "Just bought the new NSX!"

No one who owns a Corvette tells people he owns a Chevy. Not without immediately clarifying it with "It's a Corvette"

Sounds like me...  I'd like to buy the "fast" version of a small sedan for my next car, but they all come with the most ridiculously gaudy wheels :?

Sounds like what I would do. No reason to let anyone know your whip can get to 60 in under five seconds :D

Depends on what sedan it is and what you consider "guady"
