He has awesome speed. He is a hard worker. He has a cannon for an arm. I have seen it said he could play CF. All that together with the fact he has been playing it some makes me think his defensive could be a plus in RF. I think he has the type of intensity that he'd want to be a great defensive player out there. Also, with him in the OF we can play him more than we would if he were behind plate. Yeah, Mauer calls this into question, but I still think behind plate puts him more at risk for injuries and early burnout. I'm sure we can find good defensive catchers we can hide in a stacked lineup, so I'd rather put Bryce Harper in the RF and have him focus on chasing the triple crown.
