Stork failed his physical, so the deal is effectively off.

In other news, Terrance Knighton is probably available . . . .

That still fails to address the NT position. Golston got destroyed, again, by the center on Friday night. There was one play where he got pushed 7 yards down the field and then missed the tackle. He also got loose on one play where the center guard were unsure of their blocking assignment and when he got the QB he whiffed. He's the Redskins version of Danny Espinosa. :smh:

Knighton can't be any worse than Golston. Might be worth it just to make Baker happy . . .

But we've failed to address the NT position for three years in a row. Really wanted to trade back in 2015 and grab Danny Shelton or Eddie Goldman. But they need to get a top tier NT in the draft or stop trying to run the 3-4.

Or you could just cancel it

That would require refunds and they aren't going for that.

Riley and Paea were cut. The Paea and Culliver signings turned out to be bad ones. I always felt the Paea signing was bad but thought Culliver was a good pick up.

I thought Riley was supposed to be pretty good.

Homeless man's Lavar, occasional spectacular play, terrible on routine plays

That's actually pretty good and especially since Arrington was himself a very athletic player but not much more than hype as a LB.

Unable to shed blockers and struggle a ton in pass coverage.

Which basically meant all he could play was the jack ILB position, and you don't need to pay 5 million for that.

They need to cancel that crap. It's a travesty that the NFL gets away with charging people regular price for these games. A lot of the players didn't even make the trip so it's like a freaking spring training game.

I expected little from both. At least the Skins were able to clear some cap.

If I were Skins I'd go after Knighton. Patriots were paying him pennies. Offer him a low level contract and get him in the rotation. The Redskins defense will give up video game running numbers at some point this season. Knighton has to be more helpful than Reyes or that player they got in late rounds.

I would take you over Josh LeRibeus!

I just see the Redskins by game three or four having to put Chris Baker at nose full time and suddenly our one impact player upfront is being used to take double teams instead of dominating offensive tackles.

Why not just play LeRibeus at the nose . . . .

:lmao:  No question.

That would be a mistake. He has more impact in the game at DE and has shown that he is not an effective NT.

Logan Paulsen, Cullen Jenkins, Josh LeRibeus and Mack Brown were among the players cut today.

Reiter and Lanier made the team (for now).

Cullen Jenkins is a bit of a surprise because they signed him on Monday to add veteran presence to the DL and he played Wednesday and recorded 3 tackles and a sack and then got cut on Saturday.

Undrafted rookie Anthony Lanier making the team at DE is definitely a surprise. He's got the size for sure but I'm wondering if they will waive him and try to sign him to the practice squad if they can find a more experienced player that gets cut from another team or if they truly see something in him that they like and feel he can become a solid contributor.

I agree with cutting Logan Paulsen.

Josh LeRibeus getting cut was way over due. If only they would do the same with Golston. :?

Mack Brown shined in the 4th preseason game and people fell in love with him but that doesn't mean crap to me.
