Purdue and Wisconsin had a great game with Wisconsin winning in OT. Going to be interesting to see the #1 seeds tomorrow.

If you were playing Princeton would root for you guys but have to pull for Brown as the underdog.  When was the last time someone other than Yale/Harvard/Princeton/Penn won the league?  I guess Cornell when Donahue was there?
Up until they started Ivy Madness, it was always the team with the best record that won. Brown I think won in 1986, and I'm not sure Columbia or Darmouth has won since. If Brown wins, I think they will be in a play in game as a sub-.500 conference tournament winner. That seems weird because they haven't lost since 2/16 and are on a 7 game win streak.

I want Purdue to get the one seed just to see them lose to a 16 seed two years in a row

Houston.  And Purdue will still be there.  And UConn.  Conference championship results never matter.  Who is the fourth?

Seems unfair after what Princeton did last year but probably you are right.

before today, Yale and Cornell were in the 80s on NET rating, Brown #193, and Princeton #48.

Marquette and UCONN are locked in a defensive struggle, just 7-6 with almost 10 minutes gone in the first half.  Turnover after turnover.

The dream stays alive.  Temple beats tourney bound FAU.  As a reward for winning four games in four nights they get to play UAB in the afternoon tomorrow. Go Owls.

I bet $10 on a three game parlay.  Temple. Illinois.  And Houston.  Uggh. They laid a turd and cost me $140.

Not really that surprising when they have nothing to play for.  The fans seem to get up for these tourneys more than the players nowadays.

Kent State guard commits an intentional foul against Akron late thinking they were losing. Costs Kent State the game and a tournament birth.

The coach's reaction tells me that he has a substantial bonus in his contract if they make the NCAA Tournament...

I guess VCU is in even if they lose?

Temple and UAB in Fort Worth today.  What a location for a tournament.  The stands have been mostly empty.  Just terrible atmosphere.  SMU is close but leaving the conference. But apparently the tournament will stay there. Ugh.

Long Beach State fired their coach before their conference tournament but allowed him to coach. They won and are headed to the NCAA tournament.

Probably. I saw the NC State coach got $5.5 million for their win yesterday.

I don’t think coaches are thinking about the money at that point though.

heck of a finish after a pretty ugly game. Overdog pulls it out after deserving to lose. Was screaming whole 2d half about not getting the ball to Mahoney in position for 3s. They finally did it when behind. Mbeng is from Potomac, by the way.

Only played 7 guys. Their usual top sub didn't leave the bench. Discipline? Injury? matchups?

He likely thought about it...again...when they went ahead and then you saw him think about it after that foul.  That fancy new car and backyard in ground pool went poof...

Apparently, it's a zero sum game with the ACC.  The underreported story is that the NC State win knocked Virginia out of the tournament.

I don't understand how a team can play five days in a row at such a high level.

Virginia made the tournament.
