Twins just got screwed.
I disagree. It was a close play and watching it live I thought it hit the ground. That was the kind of thing IR was brought into correct. They have no one to blame but themselves

Edit:: Nvm. Apparently it is unreviewable. The Twins got screwed

To me it looked hard to overturn / be 100% sure based on the replays.

High leverage situation so I probably would have challenged there.

I'm assuming the play was unreviewable.

If it was reviewable and Twins passed.... Idiots

Buxton's speed is killer. If he gets the bat going, he's going to be a force. Lots of young talent for MN

Good defense by Nationals.

I'd rather the Nats be scorching them, but today and yesterday has been quality, fun baseball to watch.

So it looks like Ramos looked at 5 pitches then swung at the craptiest one to strike out.

You could replace Ramos' name with a number of Nationals hitters and it would still be true.

I think in 2 strike counts, our hitters overly assume that the pitcher is going to throw a strike and it influences what they see out of the hand.  Of course, that doesn't explain why we (mostly Werth) looks at so many strike 3s right over the middle of the plate.

So, we're not going to be able to pay to keep Strasburg, are we? Some California team will offer him a scary amount of money.
