With the national TV contract kicking in it's going to be a crazy offseason, the market is going to spike upwards, teams are going to be throwing piles of money at marginal players. Any chance at signing a big name will require setting a new standard for contracts, something that the Nats have been reluctant to do, other than the notable exception of the Werth signing. Fortunately we have our core team locked up and only need to upgrade at a couple spots.
