I would assume part of the equation is Lipscomb at 3b in Wilmington. While you shouldn't block a stud, Lipscomb has some talent as well that they need to develop. If you move House up, someone isn't going to get reps at 3rd. House needs the reps at 3b, and he gets them at Fredericksburg. It is also still his first full season in the minors since last year was derailed a bit by injury and illness. I dont see any harm in House and Lipscomb getting every day reps where they're at right now. Maybe once thr draft signings come around and these guys have had another 6-8 weeks at their current levels, they each move up. Who knows exactly what is going on in their minds, but I could see this, at least in part.
