What's the best reason/excuse that you've read about concerning Harpbum's demise? Joe Maddon?

Frig, I'll take it.

I'll throw in Zim, too. Why not.

Hm, it's almost like batting a real hitter leadoff helps.  Maybe if Revere starts sitting when in NL parks, we should bat the pitcher leadoff just to make sure we maintain a yawning void atop the lineup.  Consistency is important, you know, like having Papelbon blow each game in the 9th as opposed to pitching him earlier and having him blow it then.

Haven't read this, but it's simply trying too hard.  He looks like 2015 Ian Desmond up there.  Swinging at bad pitches, swinging too hard, flying open, the works.

Zim went 1-3 with 2 runs scored today.  There's no doubt he'll be batting 4th tomorrow.  Gotta get 'im going.

It's almost as though I'm typing that on your keyboard.

His projected lifetime earnings are in serious flux
Starting to feel sorry for Bryce, which is sad, considering he's a billionaire. Embarrassing.

I'd hit him second right now.

Don't care about pitch count. Strasburg needs to be his own closer today.

Citing Maddon is the worst excuse EVER.

Harper needs to sit down for 2-3 games
he is only hurting the team right now
let him get with the coaching staff and work on
fixing his swing and what ever is going on in his head

Maddon's mind games is the only thing I ever heard, and of course it's ridiculous. I mean WTF is going on?

It's almost like he's tanking on purpose. A guy with that much talent absolutely flatlining for months is suspect as hell.

Some of the managers we've played recently change pitchers in a blink of the eye.

I can't imagine he would, just seems like it the way he's flailing.

yea it's a stupid excuse. but if that really was somehing that messed with his mind then I don't want him on my team eating up salary.
