All Parra had to do was slide per dave.
Meh, they would have ruled the throw took him into the play.

The whole rule is a scam. It was designed to protect catchers and give umpires an easy out.

Shouldn’t have needed to if Sipp had done his job

Davey also said "how is he supposed to slide when the catcher is blocking the plate?"

You runk a serious risk of injury is you slide right into the catcher's gear.

Well, you put your ass on the ground and bring the cleats into the catcher's jewels.       His gear was at least shoulder wide.

dave also kept repeating that the catcher was in front of the plate which didn't happen

Rizzo needs to fire himself for putting together such a terrible bullpen. And not fixing it.

It’s on the Lerners for not firing both. Do you really want Rizzo to hire another manager?

This team is going nowhere with the likes of Rodney Sipp  Baraclough and Grace on the roster. Yes it is on Rizzi for not doing something earlier. Now he can’t obtain the players he needs because he is being held hostage by the trading partners asking price. The 50 game run was great but it is over.

The problem with Rodney is the stupid manager overusing him. He’s the best backup to Doolittle that we have but he can’t pitch multiple consecutive games.

Yeah, I'm not getting aboard hating Rodney.   He seems ok doing consecutive games.  He struggles being brought in for a second inning after 1 or 2 consecutive games or consecutive games after pitching both games of a double header, etc.   He's been a warrior, and has had good key inning coming in when we's been used and abused.   Rodney is a useful piece.  Dave needs more late inning options.  They need to crap or get off the pot with Guerra.  I don't get the reluctance to go to him or keep him in when he seems to be clearly the best option for the situation.
