In summary, the Jets are the Jets and the Bills are quickly becoming the Bills again

too bad the Pats decided to pick up their first offensive penalties and allow their first sacks in the 4th quarter when they had the ball in great position 3 times and failed to get any points.

Sounds like a team that is poorly coached. 😜

It's official: Torn achilles, out for the season.

Jets are going to be on the phone this morning.

Brady to the Jets would really be funny.  Would love to see the look on Belliceck’s face.

there's no way that's happening, but it would be funny if it did.

I'm starting to think that Josh Allen is the most overrated player in the NFL after last night. Just forced terrible throw after terrible throw.

He's Farve, but defenses have really evolved in the last few years

And guess who the Jets have lined up for week 2? Dallas.

Rodgers wasn't going to survive this season.

I'm happy to have taken the under this year, less happy to have the bills winning the division

If I'm the Jets front office i'm on the phone to Denver to trade for the only guy who could carry this team to the playoffs.

Nick Foles is retired.

I am sure Sean Peyton would love to trade Wilson. He sucks now.

They're stuck. No team with a qb capable of taking a team deep in the playoffs would ever consider trading that quarterback. Their best case is probably that the Cardinals are just done with Murray, he's totally healthy at some point in the season, and the Cardinals would rather unload him than risk losing a chance at Williams or May

All indications are that they are going to ride with Wilson and see what happens. They promoted their practice squad QB but haven't signed anyone else yet and there are no reports that they've brought anyone in for a physical. They did rule out Brady and Kapernick.

Flacco seems to be the obvious candidate if they bring in another backup as he knows the team.

Artie Lange said it best- When I was a kid, I was into The New York Jets. And then I got into girls as I got older, and then I got back into the Jets because I'd realized there's times when the girl won't freak you, but the Jets will always freak you.

The defenses looked way ahead of the offenses.  Except of course for the amazing Brock Purdy and the Niners offense.

Top passer ratings after week 1:
1. Jordan Love
2. Desmond Ridder
3. Brock Purdy

Fletcher Cox does not have to rush the QB anymore. Just let the young guys do it and wait to pick up the fumble.

The Cardinals are just that awful.  Sam Howell played like Heath Shuler last week and beat them, so their floor might be 0-17.

On another (very unfortunate) note: the Cowboys are looking like a Super Bowl team this year. :hang:

Turnovers, double-digit penalties and multiple negative plays - but when you've got Jones, Mahomes and Kelce... :woop:

Also a very contemted kitty - after a week of me continually winding him up by whistling 'When The Saints...'      ;)
